It's a question of taste!

One question that I'm asked a lot is....'What do you think of Polish food?'. I used to think, 'Is this a test?'. Were people expecting the stereotypical English answer that 'everything is great'....so not to upset my adopted home? But now as time has passed, I've relaxed and realised that people are just genuinely interested.

I've definitely got a list of things I like and don't like. So I thought I'd share with you my list of traditional Polish cuisine.......

Really like

Pierogi Ruskie, with a good dollop of cream on the side.

Rosół

Żurek (served in bread if possible.)

Flaki (I just don't think about what's in it!)

Bigos

Chłodnik

Pierniki

Ogórki kiszone

Babka

Ryba po grecku

Barszcz z uszkami

Naleśniki

Not keen on/dislike

Krokiety

Gołąbki

Kaszanka

Zupa Grzybowa

Kutia

So as you can see there are many more things I like (phew!) For those of you who are reading this who aren't Polish, I recommend googling the above, (both lists) and make up your own mind. I'd love to read your comments. Do you agree/disagree with my choices?
